Having met during their first week at University College London in 1996, compared to man, Chris Martin and guitarist Jon Buckland spent throughout its first year planning a band, starting with the name Pectoralz, but the solution of Coldplay in subsequent years by other band members Guy Berryman and Will Champion. Since its creation, the formation of the original band has remained the same throughout the year since their first EP, brothers and sisters in 1999 for the launch of her latest album, Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends in 2008. Coldplay scored their first big hit with his single usually occurs "Yellow", and have found continued success since.

The Viva La Vida Tour will begin on May 15, kicking off the American side in West Palm Beach, Florida, and a total of 46 shows throughout the entire tour.
