Can anyone recommend a good Wedding Ceremony Location in or around Redlands (Brisbane)?

Hello everyone, Well, my boyfriend and I are getting married next May, so I'm starting to find places and suppliers. I think I'm doing pretty well, because so far I've managed to haggle or discounts offered in things that are not yet paying full price for anything. The only thing I'm struggling with a nice (and cheap) place of the ceremony, which is relatively nearby. If someone was married in the Redlands or been in a nice wedding in Redlands, I really would love to hear from you! Mount Cotton Jungle Gardens are beautiful but WAY too expensive and the lady who runs it was rude to us when we went to see – so you will not have him there! Anyway, I'm really looking forward to anyone has recommendations, with approximate prices including, if possible! Thanks for reading and I hope you all have a grand entrance:)

Wow – Question concrete! You're lucky I grew up in Redlands because I do not think anyone else will know where you are talking about! You will have to bear with me, though – as I have not back to Redlands a few years: 1. Ormiston House I remember going to this place as a child and have a Devonshire Tea! I loved it. I have not been there for a while but I think it was a lovely place. http://www.news.com.au/couriermail/story/0 ,23739,23329491-3044, 00.html 2. Stradbroke Island if you can afford – this will be an option charming. You can take each one through the ferry and have a beach wedding. Http: / / www.stradbrokeweddings.com.au / pages / weddings 3. Last I heard this Whepstead Manor place would be destroyed – is everything? Because this was my favorite … If I still lived in the Redlands and this place was still around, I probably would been married there! http://www.gbacc.com.au/clientuploads/Linkages/LinkagesIssue43.pdf 4. Botanix found this doing a search and it looks very nice. Have not been there or heard of him before, but I reconstruction worth visiting. http://www.botanix.com.au/ 5. Sirromet guess this place can be a bit expensive … but not could hurt to find out. It's a very nice and the wine is not bad either! Http: / / sirromet.com / index.html I have not mentioned the point well or point of Cleveland. The main reason being time. Both can be quite windy (especially Cleveland) and would be ideal for a wedding. Why not take a walk around one day with his HTB and see if it passes any parks or areas that you like the look of? (Such as Hilliards Creek Park in Ormiston) http://www.redland.qld.gov.au/SiteCollectionDocuments/_RSC/RSC 20Documents/Environment/Waterways/5004%%% 20Hilliards 20Creek% 20Bookletlow.pdf Just be careful that it is in the wet season floods as that place so quickly and so often! Good luck. Oh, and if you want a good photographer, but it really cheaper to have a talk to Darren Lewis Welcome.html http://www.darrenlewisphotography.com/Darren_Lewis_Photography/ He made our wedding and not we could have asked for more (which is half the price of other places too) If you want to see pictures look at Emily and Peter (username is 'wedding' and password is 'Brindabella') However, if they married in Toowoomba I could tell you a lot of places to go !….
