How can I recover files from damaged or defective card compact flash?
I have a "Kingston 2GB Elite Pro" CompactFlash card speed of 50x which half died on the way my vacation, I want to know if there is any way to retrieve the pictures (of my sister's wedding) who are on the card. I have a Minolta Dynax / Maxxum 5D, and during its use in this camera, it stopped working for no apparent reason – I took photos in the morning no problem, I turn on the chamber an hour later to add a little more and he says he can not read the card and asks me to format it. I've tried it on a Canon Digital Rebel XT – The camera does not turn with the CF card inserted. I've tried a couple of other digital cameras that the report read errors and therefore will not access to content. I tried some card readers on my PC, but none of them allow Windows to "see" the card has been inserted. I've since filled a number other CF cards without problem, so that the camera is not to blame.
