What is the best program for editing photos for general use, if I have tons of photos, such as weddings?
I've been trying to advance toward bright colors and high contrast of style as with www.scarlettlillian.com. I edited a wedding in Adobe Lightroom. I feel again, ordered a mounting embedded sample album and everything looked good. My next event was a high school prom. Officers took pictures and documentaries. His background was not cool, but anyway … looked nice on the screen (you run into the color saturation and contrast), but the prints looked horrible. Skin tones are very hard … not orange or anything, just looks weird. I'm starting to rethink the color thing and maybe just adjust the levels / contrast. How long does it take to develop a special "style" that is recognized? Not necessarily want to "copy" someone elses, I just want my images to be bold. Photoshop really trust but it takes forever to open and save individual images.
At school we use Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Bridge. You may want to color profile monitor and printer so you know exactly how your prints will come.
